We’re excited to announce that in partnership with long time members David and Wendy of Bellthorpe Stays, we will be running a frog camp on the weekend of 6-8 December 2024!
Bellthorpe Stays is situated on a stunning 400 acre property bordering Bellthorpe National Park. The property sites at 450m altitude to the south west of Maleny, in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. To date, 20 frog species have been identified on the property. These include threatened species such as the Giant Barred Frog, Cascade Treefrog and Marsupial Frog!
David and Wendy have worked out a heavily discounted rate to stay in one of their four self-contained and secluded cabins – visit www.bellstays.com.au for more information. For $140 per person for a one or two night stay, this is a unique opportunity to access a variety of frog species and their habitat, and sleep in comfort each night. That’s just $70 per person, per night if you’re staying both nights! Plus there will be opportunities to see tadpoles and a range of other wildlife during the camp.
A program will be provided to those who book a spot, but there will also be plenty of time during the day to explore the property for yourself.
Our last camp was in 2017 and so we’re thrilled to be offering the first QFS camp in seven years.
Note, we can only accept bookings for those staying for 1 or 2 nights – no day/night visitors, please.
